Arrest made in relation to Wrexham store robberies as police hunt another man

Police search: Ben Brown 

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and attempted robbery in Wrexham.

The 24-year-old was in custody at Wrexham Police Station on Thursday night, having been arrested on suspicion of robbery at the Pizza Fresh takeaway on Prince Charles Road, Caia Park and an attempted robbery at the Premier Store in Tan y Coed, Hightown on Wednesday.

North Wales Police are also searching for another man in connection with two other attempted robberies.

Ben Brown, 26, from Caia Park, Wrexham, is wanted for questioning about a number of attempted robberies in Wrexham in recent weeks, including those at convenience stores in Acton and Gresford on Sunday.

Anyone with any information about these incidents is urged to call police on 101.
