THE 22nd ANGLESEY Winter Show once again showcased some of the area’s finest livestock and breeders.

More than 2,000 people descended on the Anglesey Showground in Mona to enter their animals in a whole host of competitions.

Despite experiencing poor weather last weekend, the first day of competition saw more than 60 cattle and 85 lambs entered, as well as pigs, crafts, cookery, farm produce and a Christmas tree competition.

The second day, which was also well attended, featured more than 100 horse entries.
